Custom Swiss K31 Rifle

A new uniform for an old soldier.

This was a K31 that had a shattered stock. We ordered a replacement stock listed as cracked, and got a stock that was destroyed. It had been wrapped a number of times with cable so tightly that the impression of the cable was almost an inch deep in the stock in some places, and the stock was cracked in the wrist and the forend. The stock was repaired and coated with Swiss Tan DuraCoat with a Sniper Green texture. Swiss Products drill and tap scope mount was installed and stock was inletted for it. Since this was a replacement stock and not factory fitted, the forend will be free-floated. When these stocks are factory fitted, the rifles are superbly accurate, as they are tuned to the rifle. If not, the stock is easily free-floated.
